INFINITI Announces New INFINITI Premium Care
When it comes to choosing a new vehicle, you want to know that you’ll be safe on the road. You also don’t want to spend a fortune on maintenance to make sure that your car can get you safely from one point to another. You may not have to with INFINITI’s announcement of a new Premium Care plan.
The INFINITI Premium Care program specifically covers three years of maintenance. Beginning with the 2023 INFINITI vehicles, you can look forward to this perk with each new purchase. The first car to offer these benefits is the 2023 QX55, a crossover coupe. What does Premium Care include? We’ve outlined the program for you below.
Oil Changes

INFINITI Premium Care will cover oil changes for your vehicle’s first three years on the road. While cars used to require an oil change every 3,000 miles, newer vehicles only need one every 5,000 to 7,500 miles. In some cases, cars can drive much farther without needing such frequent oil changes. If you don’t drive frequently enough to reach this milestone, you’ll still need to take your vehicle to the mechanic yearly.
INFINITI’s own maintenance schedule for vehicles such as the 2022 QX55 recommends oil changes every 7,500 miles or every 12 months. INFINITI Premium Care ensures that you won’t have to pay for these visits, so you don’t have to worry about getting off schedule early on in your vehicle’s life. Consistent maintenance is key to a long lifespan for your vehicle.
Tire Rotations
You should generally rotate the tires each time you get an oil change. INFINITI Premium Care covers tire rotations. Rotating the tires helps them to wear evenly, so your tires last longer. This process involves changing the positions of the tires so that the weight is distributed evenly and ensures that you aren’t at risk of losing a tire. Not only do tire rotations make your car safer, but they also improve your vehicle’s fuel efficiency and give you a smoother ride.
Inspections
INFINITI Premium Care will cover inspections for your new car. These inspections are crucial for your car’s long lifespan because they can spot issues early before they require extensive repairs. An inspection can prevent your car from experiencing a total breakdown that would cost you money to fix and days of being without your car.
A mechanic may inspect different components of your car at certain times. For example, the mechanic at your dealership may check the brake lines, transmission fluid, drive shaft boots, brake pads, rotors, and propeller shaft when you come in for your vehicle’s first oil change. When you come in for the second oil change, your mechanic may look at your vehicle’s exhaust system, suspension, fuel lines, vent system, and steering gear.
Brake Fluid Changes
Many people don’t change the brake fluid as often as they should, which can take a toll on your vehicle. Your car should undergo a brake fluid change every 15,000 miles or every 24 months. If you’re driving around with contaminated brake fluid, your brakes won’t operate as smoothly. In fact, this could cause your brakes to wear out more quickly, requiring frequent repairs or replacement. Regularly changing your vehicle’s brake fluid is excellent preventive care, so it makes sense that INFINITI Premium Care will cover this maintenance.
Cabin Air Filter Replacement
Your vehicle’s cabin air filter is responsible for filtering out dust, pollution, pollen, and mold spores. Replacing the cabin air filter is important, but it can be difficult to do on your own because it’s behind the glove compartment, so a mechanic may be better able to replace it for you.
You should have the cabin air filter replaced every 11,250 miles or every 18 months. Otherwise, you may experience reduced airflow when your AC or heater is on. You may also experience foul odors or increased dust and debris in your car. Your Premium Care coverage ensures that the air in your vehicle stays clean.
Tire Road Hazard
Tire road hazard protection is crucial for staying safe on the road. This protection extends to tire damage caused by road hazards, including nails, glass, potholes, and more. If an applicable road hazard causes tire damage, your plan ensures you can get back on the road quickly. Whether your car needs a flat tire repaired or a tire replacement, INFINITI Premium Care will take care of you.
The benefit of this coverage is that it allows for more protection than the tire manufacturer’s warranty. INFINITI Premium offers a zero deductible program for flat tire repairs and prorated replacement of your vehicle’s original tires for up to $250 if they are not repairable.
Car Rental Assistance
Car rental assistance is beneficial because it allows you to have access to a vehicle even if your new INFINITI is in the shop while it’s waiting for repairs. You won’t have to stay at home, but you’ll be able to get to work or continue with your travels as needed. Keep in mind that not every new INFINITI comes with this component of the Premium Care plan. Only some INFINITI models will be eligible for this perk.
Stick to Your Maintenance Schedule
INFINITI Premium Care has some stipulations, so it’s a good idea to read the details carefully. You should stick with the manufacturer’s maintenance schedule to ensure that you don’t void any agreements. Ask for a copy of the maintenance schedule or learn how you can access one for your vehicle and avoid missing any crucial appointments.
